DS Jindal Group, known for steel and plastic pipes, has launched "Flujo" to produce Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) rebars, a non-corrosive construction material. Partnering with entrepreneur Konstantin Gorchakov, the company aims to revolutionize the Indian construction industry by setting up 12 production units by 2026. GFRP rebars offer a sustainable, cost-effective alternative to traditional steel, suitable for coastal and water-exposed structures.
