Climate activist sentenced to two years for dumping red powder on U.S. Constitution display.

Climate change activist Donald Zepeda was sentenced to two years in prison for dumping red powder on a display case containing the original U.S. Constitution at the National Archives. His co-defendant, Jackson Green, received 18 months. The act caused evacuation and a four-day closure for repairs costing over $58,000. The judge criticized the "eco-vandalism," stating it does not advance the cause and only undermines climate activists' credibility.
