China and France partner to protect cultural heritage through science and technology.

China and France have signed an agreement to enhance scientific and technological cooperation in protecting cultural heritage. Northwest Normal University and France's Foundation for Cultural Heritage Science will foster exchanges, create a joint lab for preservation methods, and conduct research to support conservation efforts. This collaboration includes the digitalization and restoration of heritage sites and builds on existing projects like the Dunhuang cultural exchange.
