Tennessee's unemployment rate rose to 3.3% in October, up 0.1% from the previous month but still below the national rate of 4.1%. The state added 2,600 nonfarm jobs in October, with the largest gains in education and health services. Over the year, Tennessee has added 45,200 jobs, and it currently has over 9,500 apprentices across 431 programs.
