Southern Nigerian coalition urges president to declare emergency over poor road conditions.

The Coalition of Southern Groups (CSG) has urged Nigerian President Bola Tinubu to declare a state of emergency on federal roads in Southern Nigeria. The group, led by Prof. Vitalis Ajumbe, argues that decades of neglect have left roads in poor condition, hindering economic activities, especially for farmers and traders. The CSG also suggested that public officials should use these roads for local trips to understand the issues better.
