Oman and Bahrain's joint committee meeting aims to boost cooperation in trade, investments, and other sectors.

The eighth session of the Joint Omani-Bahraini Committee was co-chaired by Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, and Bahrain's Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation in sectors including trade, investments, infrastructure, tourism, logistics, industry, and banking. Trade between the two countries reached 118 million Omani rials (about $306 million) by August 2024, with joint investments also on the rise. The session highlighted the growing economic ties and ongoing political cooperation between the two nations.
