Lidl pledges £21 billion investment in British farming, exceeding its goal to support the industry.

Lidl, a German discount supermarket, plans to invest £21 billion in British farming over five years, exceeding its £15 billion goal by £6 billion. The company invested £5 billion last year, including £1 billion for free-range eggs and £1.5 billion for beef.
