KKR has raised its bid for Japanese software company Fuji Soft to 9,451 yen per share, narrowly beating rival Bain Capital's offer of 9,450 yen. Fuji Soft's board has accepted KKR's proposal, increasing the total acquisition price to about 600 billion yen. KKR already holds a 35% stake and plans to proceed with the second part of the buyout next week.
