On King Charles III's 76th birthday, a horse from the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery bolted during a 41-gun salute in Green Park, causing a brief commotion. The horse threw its rider and ran solo before being recaptured. This incident echoed a similar event earlier this year. Meanwhile, a 21-gun salute was also held in York, featuring a brass band and a procession through St Helen's Square, attended by the Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire.
