Indian Supreme Court urges government to address sex trafficking and victim rehabilitation.

The Supreme Court of India has called on the central government to address the lack of legislation for rehabilitating victims of sex trafficking. The court emphasized that trafficking violates victims' rights and disproportionately affects women and children, often leading to physical and mental abuse, as well as social isolation. The court is urging action in response to a 2015 judgment on victims of sexual assault.
