Fire at Mumbai's BKC metro station disrupts service, smoke forces alternative routes for commuters.

A fire broke out in the basement of the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) metro station in Mumbai on November 15 around 1:10 PM, leading to the temporary suspension of train services. The fire, which was confined to wooden materials and furniture in the under-construction A4 entry, caused heavy smoke in the operational area. Eight fire engines were deployed, and the fire was extinguished by 2:30 PM. No injuries were reported, and services resumed shortly after.
