Delhi's Metro gets its first six-coach train for Phase-IV expansion, part of 52 new driverless trains.

The first six-coach train for Delhi Metro's Phase-IV expansion, manufactured by Alstom, has arrived in Delhi. As part of the RS-17 contract, DMRC will receive 312 coaches (52 trains) for new corridors. These driverless trains, designed for speeds up to 95 kmph, will enhance metro services and support the "Make in India" initiative. The expansion includes 86 kilometers of new lines across five corridors.
