Canadian firm Polaris Renewable Energy issued $175M in green bonds to fund wind projects.

Polaris Renewable Energy, a Canadian company, has completed a $175 million private placement of green bonds with a 9.5% interest rate over five years. The bonds, rated BB- by S&P, will help refinance existing debts and fund the acquisition of the Punta Lima wind farm in Puerto Rico, as well as other renewable energy projects. The bond issue was managed by Pareto Securities.
