Bangladesh's interim government guarantees press freedom and supports journalists in first 100 days.

The interim government in Bangladesh, led by Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Nahid Islam, has ensured freedom of press, expression, and the holding of rallies without government interference during its first 100 days. The ministry plans to develop a new cyber safety policy and has provided financial aid and facilities for journalists injured or martyred during protests. Efforts are also underway to improve journalism quality.
