Australian mining firm MinRes admits failing to disclose rent relief to companies linked to its CEO's daughter.

Australian mining firm Mineral Resources (MinRes) admitted it should have disclosed rent relief given to companies linked to CEO Chris Ellison's daughter. The 11-year deals with Ship Agency Services (SAS) and Propel Marine were terminated after discovery last year. MinRes demanded SAS repay $158,000 but did not see it as material to disclose. Ellison will step down as managing director within 18 months.
