Remains believed to be of 12-year-old Delisha Africa, a victim of the 1985 Philadelphia MOVE bombing, found at Penn Museum.

Human remains believed to belong to 12-year-old Delisha Africa, one of the victims of the 1985 Philadelphia MOVE bombing, have been found at the University of Pennsylvania's Penn Museum. The remains were discovered during an inventory to prepare for moving artifacts to new storage facilities. The university had previously admitted to retaining bones from at least one victim in 2021. The museum notified Delisha's family upon discovery and pledged to handle the remains ethically. The bombing, carried out by police against the MOVE organization, killed 11 people and destroyed over 60 homes.
