Odisha forms committee to address disputes over water and territory with neighboring states.
The Odisha government has formed an inter-ministerial committee to resolve disputes with neighboring states like Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The committee aims to address conflicts over water resources and territory, including the Polavaram project, Bansadhara river water, and the Kotia village dispute with Andhra Pradesh, as well as the Mahanadi river water dispute with Chhattisgarh. The initiative was announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
