On his 76th birthday, King Charles III is opening two food distribution hubs to reduce food waste and support charities as part of his "Coronation Food Project." Since its launch last year, the project has saved 940 tonnes of food, equivalent to over 2.2 million meals. Charles will visit a hub in South London and virtually open another in Merseyside. Traditional celebrations include gun salutes in London.
