A high-speed chase in Georgia ended with a suspect and a police K-9 dying after a confrontation.

A high-speed chase involving a Coweta County deputy ended with the death of a suspect and a police K-9 named Titan in South Fulton County, Georgia. The chase began when a driver refused to stop for a traffic stop and fled at speeds up to 110 mph. After a PIT maneuver, the suspect shot and killed Titan and was fatally shot by the deputy. The deputy was grazed by bullets but was released from the hospital. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating.
