GAIL signs a decade-long deal with ADNOC Gas for LNG, aiding India's push for more natural gas use.

GAIL, India's largest gas utility, has signed a 10-year deal with ADNOC Gas to purchase up to 0.52 million metric tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG), starting in 2026. The LNG will be supplied from ADNOC Gas' Das Island facility in six annual shipments. This agreement supports India’s goal to increase natural gas to 15% of its total energy mix by 2030, up from 6% currently.
