Deputies shot and seriously injured Arthur Lefebvre, 57, after he fired at them; investigation underway.

In Harrison, Maine, deputies shot and seriously injured a 57-year-old man, Arthur Lefebvre, who had called police threatening self-harm and later fired shots at them. Despite attempts to communicate, Lefebvre emerged from his home armed, leading the deputies to use deadly force. He was airlifted to a hospital and is expected to survive. The deputies involved have been placed on administrative leave, and the Maine Attorney General's Office is investigating the incident.
