Bafta will not revoke former newsreader Huw Edwards' awards despite his child porn conviction.

Former BBC newsreader Huw Edwards will keep his Bafta awards despite his recent conviction for child pornography offenses. Bafta will implement new rules in 2025 to allow for the revocation of awards for individuals convicted of serious crimes, but the organization found it impossible to apply these rules retroactively. Edwards won seven Bafta awards between 2002 and 2017.
