AGS Airports, owning Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton, sold to AviAlliance for over £1.53bn.

AGS Airports, owner of Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton airports, has been sold to AviAlliance for over £1.53bn. The deal includes a £900m payment and £653m in debts. AviAlliance, owned by Canada's Public Sector Pension Investment Board, plans to expand routes, improve passenger experience, and implement sustainability strategies. The sale, expected to complete in early 2022, follows significant investment by previous owners Ferrovial and Macquarie since 2014.
