Vietnam Airlines plans to seek bids for 50 new narrowbody jets in 2025, according to CEO Le Hong Ha. The airline previously had a provisional agreement with Boeing for 50 737 MAX jets, but Airbus and China's COMAC are also in the running. Vietnam Airlines aims to add 170 aircraft to its fleet by 2035, with its current narrowbody fleet consisting only of Airbus models.
