U.S. and South Korea launch solar study device, CODEX, on ISS to enhance understanding of solar winds.

South Korea and the U.S. have installed a solar observation device, CODEX, on the International Space Station. This coronagraph will study the sun's corona for up to two years after a one-month test, helping scientists better understand and predict solar winds and space weather. The project, a collaboration between South Korea's KASA and NASA, also supports broader space exploration goals.
