University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences gets $11M for new clinic and building upgrades.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) received $11 million in federal grants to expand its Little Rock campus. An $8 million grant will convert 15,000 square feet of unused space into a new gastroenterology clinic and endoscopy center, with construction set for June 2025. A $3 million grant will upgrade the Monroe Building, enabling future use for the Milk Bank program and maternal education.
