UK officials visit injured protesters in Bangladesh hospital amid patient allegations of neglect.

Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum and British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke visited injured protesters at Bangladesh's NITOR hospital. The patients, critical of delays in fund releases and alleging neglect, confronted the advisers, forcing them to leave with assistance from hospital staff. Two UK doctors are treating 85 patients, performing surgeries on 16 and planning more.
