Ten civilians died and four were injured in a military airstrike on a teashop in Myanmar's Shan state.

Eleven civilians were killed and at least four injured in a military airstrike on a teashop in Myanmar's northern Shan state town of Naungcho on Tuesday, according to a local ethnic armed group. The attack occurred amid the military junta's ongoing battle against armed opposition since the 2021 coup. The junta has lost territory to ethnic minority groups and "People's Defence Forces" fighting to overturn the coup.
