South African Football Association President Danny Jordaan arrested over alleged $80,000 fraud.

South African Football Association (SAFA) President Danny Jordaan was arrested on fraud and theft charges involving R1.3 million ($80,000) allegedly misused between 2014 and 2018. Jordaan is accused of using SAFA funds for personal expenses, such as hiring a private security and PR firm without board approval. SAFA's Chief Financial Officer Gronie Hluyo and businessman Trevor Neethling were also arrested. They appeared in court and were granted bail, with their next court date set for December 5. The Democratic Alliance called for their removal to restore public trust in SAFA.
