A PC campaign manager in Nova Scotia resigned amid allegations of buying votes with Tim Hortons gift cards.

A Progressive Conservative (PC) campaign manager in Nova Scotia resigned after the Nova Scotia Liberals alleged that his team handed out Tim Hortons gift cards to voters, potentially buying votes. The campaign manager, Peter Zwicker, said the gesture was part of a meet-and-greet event and that candidate Susan Corkum-Greek was unaware of it. Elections Nova Scotia is investigating the complaint, while PC leader Tim Houston stated that such actions are not a party strategy and are made by local campaigns.
