MV Confederation ferry, damaged in a wharf collision, will resume service on December 6 after repairs.

The MV Confederation ferry, damaged after colliding with a wharf in Wood Islands, P.E.I., on September 15, is set to resume service between Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island on December 6, pending completion of repairs by December 3. Despite initial indications, mechanical failure was ruled out as a cause of the accident. The ferry will operate four daily round trips until the season ends on December 20.
