Kildare Village, a luxury shopping destination in Ireland, saw its operating profits jump by 82% to €4.5 million last year. The shopping village, which expanded its space to 21,606 square meters from its original 10,968 square meters in 2006, now has 125 units, employs 1,500 people, and attracts 4 million visitors annually. Despite a reported financial loss, the directors are optimistic about future growth and are in talks with additional retail brands.
