A Kalamazoo man is found guilty of selling fentanyl that caused a fatal overdose and possessing over 40 grams of the drug.

A 39-year-old Kalamazoo man, Antjuan Pierre Jackson, has been found guilty of selling fentanyl that led to a fatal overdose in late 2022. Jackson was also convicted of possessing over 40 grams of fentanyl with intent to distribute. Over 80 grams of the drug were found in his home during a subsequent search. The case underscores the severe impact of fentanyl trafficking in the U.S. Jackson is scheduled to be sentenced on February 27, 2025.
