Fourth Frontier's new wearable ECG monitor gains FDA approval, aiming to detect heart issues in active users.

Fourth Frontier's Frontier X Plus, a wearable single-lead ECG monitor, has received FDA clearance. The device wirelessly sends real-time heart data and can classify rhythms like Atrial Fibrillation, showing signal quality comparable to 12-lead ECGs. Aimed at early detection, especially for active individuals, it will be sold as a prescription device, partnering with diagnostic and rehabilitation centers. The company also plans to integrate AI for advanced heart condition analysis.
