British Airways flight attendant arrested after being found drunk in her car, alleged to be a "cry for help" due to domestic violence.

British Airways flight attendant Emma Newton Owen, 45, was found nearly five times over the drink-drive limit, slumped in her car on a roundabout in Surrey. She admitted to drinking and was arrested. Her lawyer said her actions were a "cry for help" due to ongoing domestic violence. Owen, who has worked for British Airways for 20 years, is on long-term sick leave and will be sentenced in January.
