Bank of Ghana suspends Consolidated Bank's foreign exchange license for violations.

The Bank of Ghana has suspended Consolidated Bank Ghana's Foreign Exchange Trading License for one month starting November 26, 2024, due to violations of foreign exchange regulations and anti-money laundering guidelines. The license will be reinstated once the bank implements effective controls to comply with the regulations. The BoG has also warned other market players to strictly adhere to forex rules.
