South Korean banks adjust hours to ease traffic on national college exam day.

South Korean banks will adjust their operating hours on November 12 to help reduce traffic congestion on the day of the national college entrance exam, the CSAT. Banks will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. instead of their usual 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. schedule, affecting around 520,000 test-takers. While most financial institutions are expected to follow this change, some branches, especially those in areas like airports and industrial complexes, may not participate.
