Shane McNally sentenced to nearly four years for defrauding New Zealand's pandemic business aid scheme.

Shane Douglas McNally was sentenced to nearly four years in prison for fraudulently obtaining over $82,000 from New Zealand's Small Business Cashflow Scheme during the COVID-19 pandemic. McNally and his accomplice, Brendon Blair McBride, made 21 fraudulent applications using different identities. The scheme was designed to support businesses affected by the pandemic, but McNally and McBride did not meet the eligibility criteria.
