Seattle area sees multiple developments, including low-carbon concrete use and affordable housing applications.

A new transit-oriented development, Traxx, is under construction in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, led by Sierra Construction. In Seattle, a historic Greenlake building became the city's first to use five new low-carbon concrete types for retrofitting. There are 86 applications for $91 million in Seattle affordable housing funds, highlighting high demand. A 7-acre polluted property in Renton is now available for development, previously purchased by AAA Management. Also, 65 residential units are planned for a Beacon Hill site after cleanup, and a boutique hotel project near the Swedish Cherry Hill campus has been in planning for eight years.
