Riverina Water found low PFAS levels in Tarcutta's water supply, but the water is still safe to drink.

Riverina Water detected low levels of PFAS, including 15 nanograms per liter of PFOS, in Tarcutta's water supply, but the water remains safe to drink and meets current health guidelines. The source was traced to one of two groundwater bores, which has been taken offline. Riverina Water prioritizes community health and will work with NSW government agencies to investigate further and meet health guidelines. No PFAS were detected at other locations in the network.
