President-elect Donald Trump has reportedly selected Florida Representative Mike Waltz as his National Security Advisor. Waltz, a former Army Green Beret and vocal critic of China, is set to advise Trump on national security matters without Senate confirmation. Trump has also reportedly chosen Florida Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State and Lee Zeldin as the EPA Administrator. These appointments are expected to bolster Trump's foreign policy goals, particularly regarding China and the U.S.-India relationship.
