Omniplex Cork cinema was ordered to pay €12,000 to Dylan O'Riordan, a former duty manager with autism, after failing to provide reasonable accommodation, breaching the Employment Equality Act 1998. O'Riordan resigned after over two years, citing his deteriorating mental health and unmet need for consistent scheduling. The Workplace Relations Commission also instructed the cinema to conduct training on managing staff with neurological conditions.
