A giant, rotting-smelling whale model is installed in Baku to highlight climate change at COP29.

A lifelike 52-foot sperm whale model has been installed on Baku's shoreline ahead of the UN climate summit COP29. Created by Belgian collective Captain Boomer, the rotting-smelling whale aims to highlight ecological destruction and climate change impacts on marine life. The model, touring cities globally for a decade, is part of efforts to prompt reflection on human environmental impacts.
