The Hit Factory recording studio in New York is auctioning off a collection including a 1960s Baldwin piano used to record Eric Clapton's "Layla" and albums by the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The auction also features personal archives of Danielle Germano, the founder's daughter, including an original file from John Lennon's final album, "Double Fantasy," and hundreds of record awards. The auction runs online from November 13 to December 4, managed by Eaton & Brennan.
