Dubai unveils plans for a high-capacity aerial taxi vertiport, set to launch in early 2026.

Dubai is building its first aerial taxi vertiport near Dubai International Airport, approved by the Crown Prince. Covering 3,100 square meters, it will handle about 42,000 landings and 170,000 passengers annually. Scheduled to launch in Q1 2026, the service will operate from four locations, including Dubai International Airport and Palm Jumeirah, with trips expected to take 12 minutes instead of 45 by car. The Joby S4, an eco-friendly electric vehicle, will be used for the service.
