BRS leader accuses Telangana's Congress government of corruption in large water supply contracts.

KT Rama Rao, leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accused Telangana's Congress government of corruption and crony capitalism in awarding AMRUT 2.0 water supply contracts worth ₹8,888 crore. He specifically cited a ₹1,137 crore contract awarded to a company linked to the Chief Minister’s brother-in-law, questioning the company's financial capability. Rao met Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to seek an investigation. The Congress party countered by accusing Rao of lobbying in Delhi to avoid corruption allegations related to a ₹55-crore transfer for a Formula E race.
