Alaska's Governor and Oklahoma's Senator are among candidates for U.S. Secretary of the Interior in Trump's administration.

Governor Mike Dunleavy of Alaska and Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin are both being considered for the position of U.S. Secretary of the Interior in President-elect Donald Trump's administration. The transition team is also looking at other conservative candidates for various cabinet roles. Additionally, efforts to find remains from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre continue, with one of the two surviving witnesses celebrating her 110th birthday recently.
