Wildfires are raging on both coasts of the U.S., killing a New York parks employee and destroying over 130 structures in Southern California. In New York, 18-year-old Dariel Vasquez died when a tree fell on him while battling a fire near the New York-New Jersey border. In California, the Mountain Fire in Ventura County destroyed over 130 structures and forced evacuations. Dry conditions have led to unhealthy air quality warnings in affected areas.
