Watercare has finished a key part of a $300 million project to improve wastewater services in Warkworth, Snells Beach, and Algies Bay, New Zealand. A tunnel-boring machine completed a five-kilometer pipeline to transport wastewater to a new treatment plant in Snells Beach. This project aims to enhance local infrastructure and support regional growth, with the pipeline set to connect to the treatment plant by mid to late 2025.
