Vandals damaged Nigeria's power line, stealing conductors and disrupting Abuja's power supply.

Vandals destroyed three transmission towers and stole two spans of aluminum conductors from Nigeria's 330kV Lokoja-Gwagwalada power line on November 9, disrupting power supply in Abuja. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) is working to replace the stolen materials and restore service. TCN and the APC Grassroots Governance Group have condemned the vandalism, urging public and security cooperation to combat such acts that hinder the country's power infrastructure.
